Key Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology assessments, treatment plans, and therapy sessions for patients.
• Develop individualized treatment programs to improve communication and swallowing functions.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations regarding healthcare documentation.
• Occasionally float to other facilities as needed for coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current certification in CPR/BLS.
• Strong assessment and clinical skills in speech and language therapy.
• Excellent communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a nursing facility or acute care setting.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus.
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations is beneficial.
