Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery
Location: Fort Wayne, IN
Pay Range:

ASN: $29.80 – $49.17/hour

BSN: $31.80 – $51.17/hour
Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000
Schedule: Full-time, night shifts (three shifts per week)
Weekend Rotation: Every third weekend and as needed
Relocation: Not eligible
Position Overview
Join a dedicated Labor and Delivery team providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the childbirth experience. The Registered Nurse will play a vital role in ensuring safe deliveries, supporting families, and delivering compassionate, evidence-based care.
Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care during all stages of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.

Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal well-being, identifying and responding to complications.

Support patient education and emotional needs throughout the childbirth process.

Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, coordinated care.

Accurately document patient care and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.

Offer education and guidance to new mothers and families.
Qualifications

Diploma in Nursing or ASN/BSN degree required.

Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license and current CPR certification required.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with heavier weights as needed.

Strong communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.

Additional certifications may be required for specific units or specialties.
Preferred Experience

Prior experience in labor and delivery or women’s health.

Advanced certifications in obstetric or neonatal care (preferred).
