- Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients throughout the childbirth process.
- Monitor fetal well-being and maternal vital signs, recognizing any complications.
- Assist with patient education and support during labor, delivery, and postpartum stages.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Document patient care accurately and maintain compliance with hospital protocols.
- Support new mothers and families, offering education and resources as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing or an ASN/BSN degree.
- Valid Indiana Registered Nurse license.
- CPR certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with lifting heavier weights as required by the department.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in labor and delivery nursing.
- Additional certifications relevant to obstetric care.
