Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to surgical and trauma patients in a busy medical-surgical unit.
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document patient progress accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Assist with patient discharges and facilitate smooth patient flow within the unit.
• Follow hospital policies, safety protocols, and unit guidelines to maintain a compliant healthcare environment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Ability to work night shifts consistently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a surgical or trauma unit.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
• Experience with orthopedic, neuro, or general surgery patient care.
