Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to residents in a safe, caring, and efficient manner according to established standards, procedures, and individual care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments following nursing standards of practice.
- Update and document care plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to nursing care.
- Supervise assigned staff, including interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive environment for team engagement and collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid licensure for LVN / LPN in the state of practice.
- Current BLS certification.
- Basic nursing skills with knowledge of medication effects, side effects, and therapeutic measures.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
- Physical ability to lift up to 35 lbs and perform required tasks.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Familiarity with resident care documentation and care plan updates.
