- Days, Full-time, 13 or 26-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide endoscopy and gastrointestinal (GI) nursing care in an acute hospital setting
- Perform procedures such as EUS, EBUS, ERCP, ION, colonoscopy, and bronchoscopy
- Assist with patient assessments and prepare patients for procedures
- Follow protocols for BLS certification and maintain required certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and SGNA
- Support the clinical team while ensuring patient safety and care quality
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska RN license (or pending license with strong preference for in-hand license)
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant nursing experience
- Ability to work 10-hour shifts (4 days per week)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Certifications such as ACLS, PALS, and SGNA preferred
- Experience with advanced GI procedures including EUS, EBUS, ERCP, and others
- Familiarity with Epic charting system

Additional Details
- On-call required every 5th weekend
- No floating within scope; block scheduling available
- Local candidates are not required; candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility
- Guaranteed 70 hours per bi-weekly pay period with limited time off requests
