Schedule / Job Type
Travel, 13-week contract, overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department
• Assist with trauma, stroke care, orthopedic injuries, and psychiatric assessments
• Perform procedures including U/S IV insertions, IO insertions, laceration repair, and ECG interpretation
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans
• Maintain accurate documentation using Sunrise/Allscripts EMR system
• Follow department protocols and policies for patient safety and quality care

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ER experience in a hospital setting
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (must be current)
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Dependability with punctuality and professional accountability
• Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to high-acuity situations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of ER experience in a contract or travel role
• Advanced certifications such as MOAB or additional trauma certifications
• Proficiency in EKG interpretation and rapid patient assessment
