Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 3 x 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), temporary travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide bedside care for Medical Surgical and Telemetry patients during night shifts.
• Demonstrate proficiency in ECG rhythm recognition and medication administration.
• Adhere to hospital policies, documentation, and safety protocols.
• Complete orientation assessments including ECG recognition and safeMedicate with acceptable scores.
• Work collaboratively with medical teams to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain active licenses and certifications as required for the role.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months recent, permanent experience in Medical Surgical and Telemetry prior to travel.
• Valid Ohio license or Compact State license in hand at time of submission.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS prior to start.
• One recent reference from a manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty.
• Successful passing of ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to pass background checks including BG hits, Nicotine testing (exempt for nurses/CSTs until further notice), and BCI/FBI fingerprinting within required timeframes.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a hospital setting within a highly regulated environment.
• Prior experience with telemetry and cardiac monitoring.
• Familiarity with hospital documentation systems and protocols.
