Schedule / Job Type

• Rotating shifts; full-time, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in the Medical Surgical and Telemetry units at a leading hospital
• Monitor and assess patient vital signs, manage symptoms, and assist with treatments
• Recognize and interpret ECG rhythms, administer medications safely, and respond to clinical emergencies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Work at least every other holiday as part of the staffing commitment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing prior to travel assignments
• At least 18 months of recent Med/Surg/Tele experience; travel experience acceptable
• Valid Ohio license or Compact State license in hand
• Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation
• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Must be able to work rotating shifts including nights and days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital setting with large medical centers
• Familiarity with CDC guidelines and hospital safety protocols
• Experience with electronic medical records systems
