- Nights, 3 shifts per week (Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across multiple modalities including Echo, Vascular, Abdomen, OB/GYN, Musculoskeletal, Neurosonology, and Breast.
- Ensure quality and accuracy of ultrasound imaging for diagnostic purposes.
- Maintain patient safety and comfort during procedures.
- Adhere to hospital protocols, radiation safety, and infection control standards.
- Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accurate patient assessments and timely reporting of findings.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or higher in Allied Health, with specialization in Ultrasonography.
- Minimum of two ARDMS-accepted registries in practiced specialties (e.g., Abdomen, OB/GYN, Vascular Technology, Echo).
- ARDMS certification in Vascular Technology required; Echo registry preferred but not mandatory.
- CPR certification through American Heart Association.
- Active ARDMS registration in Ultrasound required.
- Must hold current ARDMS license or be able to obtain a temporary license (license processing time 5-10 days).
- Ability to work nights and pass position-specific testing if applicable.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience performing multiple ultrasound modalities including Echo and Vascular.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols for night shift procedures.
- Willingness to obtain additional specialty registries, such as Echo.
