  • Full-time, evening shift (3x12-hour shifts)

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI scans with a focus on urgent and STAT cases, primarily using Siemens equipment
  • Provide support to the CT department when MRI cases are not available
  • Assist with inpatient, outpatient, ER, and trauma imaging in a Level 1 hospital setting
  • Handle procedures including abdomen, pelvis, head/neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, and advanced imaging techniques like diffusion, perfusion, and post-processing
  • Maintain documentation using EPIC and ensure compliance with all safety and procedural protocols
  • Participate in on-call rotations and rotating holidays as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Ohio licensure or acceptable MRI tech credentialing (out-of-state licenses acceptable)
  • Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI or equivalent
  • BLS certification
  • Experience with Siemens MRI systems and techniques listed above

Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Experience working with inpatients, ER, and trauma imaging environments
  • Proficiency with PACS, contrast administration, and image post-processing techniques
  • Knowledge of IV starts, EKGs, and related technical skills

Additional Details

  • Shift: Mids (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
  • Caseload: Approximately 35-40 cases per day across 3 rooms
  • Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting promptly upon contract signing to meet strict compliance deadlines
  • Travel and credentialing compliance are mandatory—please note the urgent requirement for Ohio-based fingerprinting
  • Applicants should have two professional references, including at least one supervisory or leadership reference
