Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical/Tele

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a community hospital setting
• Document patient assessments, progress, and care plans using EPIC electronic health record system
• Float within scope to other units as needed
• Adhere to hospital policies, including natural nail policy and specific policies for ER and Psych candidates
• Participate in orientation modules and complete required training during the first week of assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as a registered nurse
• Valid state license in VA or a compact state at the time of submission
• EPIC charting experience required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to pass background checks and provide two professional references
• Candidates must submit to fingerprinting as per Virginia regulations (results required before start date)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Community hospital experience preferred
• Prior experience with EPIC electronic medical record system
• BSN degree preferred
