Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Oncology (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver primary nursing care to patients on a 24-bed Med/Surg unit with a focus in Oncology and General Surgery
- Administer chemotherapy in accordance with unit policy (chemo-certified nurses only)
- Monitor and document vital signs per unit protocol, including q8h standard and q4h for remote telemetry patients
- Perform standard Med/Surg procedures and provide care to a remote telemetry patient population
- Collaborate within a team-based nursing model alongside charge nurses, fellow RNs, and administrative care technicians
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of current hospital acute care Oncology RN experience
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proficiency or ability to work within Meditech / CPN EMR systems
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Chemotherapy certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Experience working in a remote telemetry environment
