Key Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients in a busy ER setting
- Perform procedures such as splinting, EKGs, airway support, and trauma assists
- Monitor and operate medical equipment including Alaris pumps and rapid infusers
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in MEDITECH electronic medical records
- Support behavioral health de-escalation and other crisis interventions as needed
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Texas or state of residence
- Minimum 1 year of ER or inpatient nursing experience
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications preferred
- Experience with Meditech EMR system preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma experience and inpatient care background
- Proficiency in holding inpatient procedures and central line management
- Strong multitasking and team-oriented skills
