Job Title

• Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, 13-week contract, travel position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Float to other emergency departments as needed.
• Monitor patient vitals, administer treatments, and document care via electronic medical records.
• Assist with procedures such as intubations, suturing, and splinting.
• Collaborate with medical team to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Ensure compliance with all unit policies and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or multi-state licensing.
• Emergency Nursing Pediatric Certification Course (ENPC) completed by start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification required by start date.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 1 year ER nursing experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• More than 2 years of ER experience.
• Experience with Meditech EMR system.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and as part of a team.
