- Full-time, Days, 12.5-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care in an LTAC/Telemetry setting following the Nursing Process and hospital policies.
- Utilize critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership skills to ensure safe and effective care delivery.
- Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities appropriately based on staff qualifications.
- Supervise and direct assigned personnel to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Apply knowledge of vent/trach management, central lines, and wound care as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Texas or multi-state compact RN license (must be attached to resume).
- BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association (must be attached to submission).
- 2+ years of clinical nursing experience, including vent/trach management.
- Knowledge of central lines and wound care preferred.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- LTAC experience preferred.
- Wound care experience highly desirable.
- Experience with telemetry nursing.
