Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing rehabilitative care to patients.
- Implement treatment plans and therapeutic exercises as directed.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report to supervising therapists.
- Maintain a clean and safe treatment environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license or certification.
- Previous experience working in a healthcare or rehabilitative setting.
- Strong communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to follow treatment protocols and document accurately.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and treatment procedures.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with outpatient functional rehabilitation.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
