Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to orthopedic patients in a hospital setting.
• Assist with patient assessments, medication administration, and post-operative care.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with patients and family members.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in North Carolina or eligible to obtain licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in orthopedic or related specialties.
• Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts, including days.
• Strong clinical skills and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a trauma or surgical unit.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Familiarity with orthopedic surgical procedures and post-operative care.
