Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shift, Monday through Friday; no call or weekends.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and treat adult patients in an acute hospital setting with a variety of diagnoses, including general deconditioning, total joint replacements, post-op orthopedic, neuro diagnoses, and medical-surgical conditions.
• Utilize electronic medical records system (EPIC) for documentation and treatment planning.
• Float between hospital units/departments as needed, providing flexible coverage.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Follow hospital protocols and maintain compliance with safety and healthcare standards.

Required Qualifications

• Active Minnesota Occupational Therapy License.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient hospital experience, with at least 1 year of experience within the past 3 years.
• Ability to float between units/departments and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting.
• Willingness to cross-train for intermittent coverage in skilled nursing facilities (not mandatory).
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical record system.

• Candidates living within 80 miles of Bemidji, MN, will have the client rate reduced by $8.00/hour.

• Orientation includes both computer-based and departmental training, with badge-in/out procedures.
• All clinicians must note if they have previously worked for Sanford Health; if so, their end date must be at least 6 months prior to submission.
