Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care for postpartum, antepartum, pediatric, GYN, and nursery patients.
• Assist in labor, postpartum, nursery, and pediatric units, including float responsibilities to Med-Surg and Tele units as needed.
• Utilize equipment such as EPIC One Chart, Acudose, Philips vitals machines, bladder scanner, Medula breast pumps, Responder 5 call system, and Medfusion pumps.
• Support a patient census averaging 5 couplets, with additional pediatrics, GYN, labor, and SCN patients.
• Participate in staff scheduling, onboarding, and coverage for staff on FMLA.
• Collaborate with support staff including CNAs, ward clerks, charge nurses, and LPNs to ensure quality patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of OB/L&D nursing experience.
• Active MN RN license.
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS preferred.
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR system or equivalent.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• PALS certification is a plus.
• Experience working in a labor and delivery environment with diverse patient acuity.
• Ability to float confidently to Med-Surg and Tele units.

• Candidates living within 80 miles of the facility are preferred; local candidates' rates are adjusted accordingly.
• Must be willing to work variable shifts, including weekends.
• Experience in Sanford Health or prior employment there must be within the last 6 months to be considered.
• All clinicians will undergo proper orientation and unit-specific training on first day.
