- Full-time, contract, travel assignment
- Shift: Night shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in the Emergency Department for adult patients
- Assist with protocols including STEMI, Stroke, and Conscious Sedation
- Perform procedures such as intubation, chest tube management, laceration repair, and orthopedics splinting
- Monitor and operate advanced medical equipment including Phillips monitors, GE EKGs, and Lifepak defibrillators
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and efficient care delivery
- Document clinical information accurately in the Meditech Expanse EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
- Minimum of 3 years recent emergency department experience
- Experience in a charge nurse role or demonstrating multi-tasking and independent decision-making skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience with complex protocols and procedures in emergency settings
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong critical thinking and interpersonal skills
