Job Title

• Radiation Therapist / Therapist - Radiation Therapist

• Scottsbluff, NE

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Day shifts, 5 days per week, approximately 9 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform radiation oncology procedures as prescribed and directed by the radiation oncologist
• Accurately record the delivery of patient treatments in a timely manner
• Utilize effective communication skills when interacting with patients, their families, colleagues, and physicians
• Assist with ancillary duties such as processing films, darkroom functions, and transporting patients
• Restock supplies and notify appropriate personnel when supplies need replenishing
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in accordance with department standards

Required Qualifications

• Certification or licensure as a Radiation Therapist or equivalent
• Clinical experience in radiation oncology procedures
• Ability to perform radiation treatments accurately and safely
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital or oncology department
• Familiarity with radiation therapy equipment and protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
