Key Responsibilities
- Provide inpatient physical therapy evaluations and treatments to hospitalized patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Operate mobility equipment and assist patients in their rehabilitation process
- Document patient progress accurately using the facility's electronic medical records system
- Contribute to a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety guidelines, and unit-specific procedures
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida Physical Therapist license
- MPT or DPT degree from an accredited institution
- At least 1 year of acute care experience
- Proficiency in Meditech electronic medical records system
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- ICU experience
- Experience with mobility equipment and advanced rehabilitation techniques
- Exceptional communication and outgoing personality
