Registered Nurse - ICU
Location: Waimea, HI
Schedule / Job Type: Night shifts, full-time, 80 hours every two weeks, on-site

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and deliver patient care specific to the ICU/CCU setting for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
• Manage patients with serious respiratory or cardiac conditions, including surgical and critical care cases.
• Ensure patient needs are met with individualized, age-appropriate assessments and interventions.
• Support patients in various hospital units including ICU/CCU, and float to OB, MS, PACU, and ER as needed according to competency.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to maintain patient safety and care standards, including after-hours support.
• Complete required orientation, competency, and documentation as per hospital protocols.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid license as a Registered Nurse.
• Experience in ICU/CCU with adult, pediatric, and geriatric patient populations.
• Emergency room experience preferred.
• Ability to work any shift with flexibility; 80 hours every two weeks without exception.
• PACU recovery experience is advantageous.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Prior float experience in OB, MS, PACU, or ER units.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to variable patient acuity levels and staffing needs.
