iDEAL HIRE is hiring a new Physical Therapist - Skilled Nursing / Rehab for our client, a 115-bed facility featuring two therapy gyms and a specialized Vent/Trach unit. This is a Permanent role, working in Sun City, AZ, offering a pay rate of $55/hr.

Role Details

• Compensation: $55.00 per hour

What You'll Be Doing

• Design & Implement Care: Establish and administer treatment plans with specific goals tailored to patient capacity and physician direction.

• Lead & Supervise: Provide clinical supervision to up to two Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) and collaborate with on-floor rehab techs.

• Caseload Ownership: Manage your own cases with the flexibility to bring new, creative ideas to patient care and department success.

• Specialized Rehab: Participate in the care and professional development for a new Vent/Trach unit, including bi-monthly best practice presentations.

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Work with an all in-house therapy team and other disciplines to evaluate team goals for each patient.

• Documentation: Record patient condition and progress in accordance with state and federal regulations using PCC EMR.

• Patient Advocacy: Educate patients and families on therapy methods and communicate status updates to all involved professionals.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program.

• Licensure: Current Physical Therapist (PT) license in the state of Arizona.

• Certification: Current CPR certification and an Arizona Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.

• Experience: 6–12 months of experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing (SNF) environment is highly preferred.

• Skills: Knowledge of MDS procedures, HIPAA compliance, and state/federal rules relating to therapy delivery.

• Schedule: Flexibility to cover one weekend day (no set rotation) and weekday holidays (excluding Thanksgiving and Christmas).
