• Full-time, Days shift, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and coordinate resident care in accordance with standards, procedures, and individualized care plans
• Administer medications and treatments to residents as prescribed
• Monitor residents' conditions, document care provided, and communicate updates to appropriate staff
• Safeguard residents’ property and maintain their privacy and confidentiality
• Support residents’ independence and choices when appropriate
• Ensure safe, clean, and pleasant living environments for residents
• Process physicians’ orders timely and respond promptly to resident call lights
• Educate residents and their families/significant others about care plans and procedures
• Accurately utilize EMR systems and proper transfer equipment to ensure resident safety
• Follow safety protocols related to fire, disaster, and department-specific safety measures

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Valid RN licensure for South Dakota
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (oral and written)
• Knowledge of basic nursing skills and medication effects

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in long-term care or skilled nursing settings
• Familiarity with EMR systems and resident transfer equipment
