Therapist - Respiratory Therapist
Location: Largo, FL
Schedule / Job Type: Travel, 13-week assignment, Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), working 3 nights per week

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory therapy services for patients in a 290-bed hospital setting, including ventilator management and nebulizer treatments.
• Perform assessments, ABGs from A-lines, and assist in intubations and codes as needed.
• Support rapid response teams and collaborate effectively with clinical staff to deliver quality patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation via EMR systems and adhere to unit policies and procedures.
• Utilize advanced respiratory equipment such as Servo and 840 ventilators.
• Work as part of a busy, team-oriented environment ensuring high standards of care during night shifts.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist credential/license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical respiratory care setting.
• Critical care skills, including ventilator management and patient assessment.
• Ability to perform ABGs, assist with intubations, and manage ventilators.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with Meditech EMR system.
• Prior ventilator experience.
• Ability to handle emergency procedures such as codes and rapid responses.
