Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients in a medical-surgical setting, following physician’s orders and standards of care.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, administering treatments and medications as needed.
• Support patients of all ages and their families, ensuring comfort and safety.
• Document patient care accurately and comprehensively in accordance with hospital policies.
• Work independently within established guidelines to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid, current, and unrestricted Nursing License in the United States, Puerto Rico, or U.S. territories.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a nurse in an acute or sub-acute facility.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Certification in Complete Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) within six months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification completed within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a rural or tribal healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills.
