Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI procedures following established protocols to acquire high-quality diagnostic images.
- Operate MRI equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to manufacturer recommendations and radiation safety standards.
- Maintain accurate patient records within electronic health records (EHR) systems, including procedure documentation and supplies.
- Assist with clerical duties, patient transport, and cross-train in other modalities as needed.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and coordinate with service engineers for maintenance.
- Follow all safety, infection control, and organizational policies to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
- ARRT registration in Radiology, including MRI certification.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Successful completion of background and pre-employment drug screening.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- At least two years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, including MRI.
- Cross-training in modalities such as CT, DEXA, or Mammography.
- Experience with electronic records systems like PACS and RIS/HIS.
