• Full-time, Night shift (3x12 hours)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to patients in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage dysrhythmias, and respond to emergencies.
• Administer medications, including cardiac and vasoactive drips, following protocols.
• Care for patients with post-cardiac events, GI issues, renal failure, and respiratory needs.
• Perform advanced IV therapies, including PICC lines, arterial lines, and blood products.
• Utilize Cerner electronic health record system for accurate documentation and charting.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in a similar setting.
• Active Illinois RN license.
• ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Experience with cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia management, and telemetry.
• Proficiency in invasive procedures such as sheath removal and post-cardiac procedures.
• Strong assessment and emergency response skills.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Level I trauma center experience.
• Previous charge nurse experience.
• Experience with Cerner EMR system.
• Teaching hospital background.
