Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, shift will be evening hours (2x8 and 2x12 shifts) with call requirements; weekend rotation; flexible within a 6:30 AM – 11:30 PM window

Key Responsibilities
• Assist in cardiovascular and thoracic surgeries within the CVOR team
• Maintain sterile technique and assist with instrument reprocessing for cardiovascular procedures
• Support operating room staff during complex surgeries such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements
• Document equipment usage and patient charting in electronic medical records
• Ensure aseptic practices and proper crash cart management during procedures

Required Qualifications
• Minimum of 5+ years of total CST experience
• At least 2+ years in cardiac and vascular procedures
• 1+ year CVOR experience
• 1+ year in a Level I Trauma facility
• Experience with cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
• Valid BLS certification

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Knowledge of thoracic and vascular surgery procedures
• Ability to scrub and circulate during complex surgeries
• Flexibility with shift times and call requirements
