Job Title
• Tech - IR/Special Procedures

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, 13-week contract, on-site, days (4x10 hours)

Key Responsibilities
• Support interventional radiology (IR) procedures in the operating room, including vascular IR cases
• Assist with imaging support during surgeries and interventions
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure quality patient care during IR procedures
• Adhere to safety and procedural protocols, including radiation safety and infection control
• Complete required documentation and charting, including Epic software, and ensure compliance with clinical policies

Required Qualifications
• ARRT certification and BLS certification
• Valid Virginia license or eligibility to obtain one; must have license in hand or pending at submission (pending license acceptable with proof and proceeding timeline)
• Experience with imaging support and IR procedures in a hospital setting
• Ability to work 10-hour shifts, with rotating call every 4th week
• Must be within a 50-mile radius for eligible units; local candidates preferred where applicable

Preferred Experience / Skills
• BSN degree preferred
• Prior experience with Epic electronic health records
• Ability to float within scope of practice across various departments as needed
