Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 3 nights per week, 12-hour night shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) patients.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, respond to emergencies, and implement care plans.
• Document patient information accurately using electronic charting systems, including Epic.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, travel regulations, and licensing requirements.
• Float within scope of practice as needed across designated units.
• Adhere to safety and clinical protocols including BLS, NRP, and other unit-specific certifications.

Required Qualifications

• Valid State Registered Nurse license (pending licenses accepted; must have in-hand by Wednesday before start).
• BLS certification required at submission.
• NRP certification required at submission or pending; must have in hand at start date.
• Experience working in a NICU setting preferred.
• Epic electronic charting experience mandatory.
• Must have a minimum of 12 months of recent NICU or similar critical care experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred.
• Previous experience floating within hospital scope.
• Knowledge of unit-specific protocols and procedures.
