Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting within a community hospital environment
• Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols
• Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the electronic health record
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements throughout the shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in North Carolina or compact state eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Department nursing experience
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS and other relevant certifications as required by facility
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in an emergency care environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
• Familiarity with community hospital workflows and a broad patient population
• Experience with electronic health record documentation systems
