Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend | Holidays as Needed | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct inpatient nursing care to a diverse patient population with multiple co-morbidities, including a specialized stroke and neuro patient population
• Manage telemetry monitoring, including remote monitoring, and respond appropriately to cardiac rhythm changes
• Perform and manage central line care, PICC line management, port access, peripheral IV insertion and care, and blood product administration
• Provide feeding tube care and management, wound care, wound vac management, and maintain isolation precautions
• Administer care involving nasal cannula oxygen delivery and CVA patient protocols
• Float to other campus locations within the health system as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Telemetry experience with remote monitoring required; on-unit monitoring experience preferred
• Experience with patient ratios of 1:5–1:6 required
• Must pass a compliance EKG exam (two attempts permitted)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• On-unit telemetry monitoring experience (in addition to remote monitoring)
• Experience with stroke or neuro patient populations
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
