- Travel, 13-week contract, Nights shift, 12.5-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients in a hospital setting.
- Administer and monitor a variety of ventilator and oxygen therapy procedures.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and equipment usage.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and state licensing requirements.
- Float across various critical care units as needed.
Required Qualifications
- North Carolina Respiratory License
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- NRP certification
- Experience with GE R860 vents, Draeger infant/peds vents, and high-flow oxygen devices
- Prior experience in a Level II trauma or ICU setting
