Job Title

• Registered Nurse - CVICU

Schedule / Job Type

• Night shifts, 12.5-hour shifts, travel assignment, 13 weeks

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care for cardiac ICU patients, including those on ECMO and LVAD support.
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamics, manage ventilators, and perform advanced cardiac procedures.
• Titrate medications such as Vesicants, Pressors, Sedation, and Paralytics.
• Document patient care accurately using systems like Cerner.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license.
• ICU or cardiac care experience, minimum of 2+ years.
• Knowledge of hemodynamics, telemetry, and cardiac procedures.
• Ability to titrate medications including Vesicants, Pressors, and Sedatives.
• Experience with ventilators, trachs, and chest tube management.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• CCRN certification (recommended).
• Experience with Impella, IABP, and CRRT technologies.
• Familiarity with advanced procedures such as cardioversion, central line insertion, and EGD.
• Knowledge of Hemodynamics and PA Catheter setup.
