- Night shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), temporary travel assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide labor and delivery nursing care in a high-volume, magnet-designated acute care hospital.
- Circulate during labor and delivery procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
- Complete required certifications including BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced levels.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible to unit needs and scheduling requests.
- Maintain compliance with travel and hospital policies, including documentation and licensure.
- Adhere to local hospital policies, including uniform, parking, and charting system (Epic).
Required Qualifications
- CA RN license in hand; pending licenses are not accepted.
- Minimum of 2 years recent, relevant labor and delivery experience.
- Valid BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications; Advanced preferred.
- Ability to circulate in a hospital setting.
- Must be flexible to work 3 out of 5 holidays.
- No first-time travelers; previous travel or hospital-based experience preferred.
- Must pass background checks and disclose license and background status upfront.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a large hospital environment.
- Ability to float across facilities within the state.
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
