Job Title

Schedule / Job Type
• Night shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities
• Provide adult critical care and emergency respiratory services, including intubation, extubation, and airway management
• Implement pulmonary hygiene techniques, suctioning, and oxygen therapy, including high flow nasal cannula and aerosol setups
• Assist with mechanical ventilation management, troubleshooting alarms, weaning patients, and administering BiPAP and CPAP therapy
• Conduct arterial blood gas sampling and interpretation, chest physiotherapy, and patient transport within the facility
• Support patients with respiratory diagnoses such as COPD, asthma, pneumonia, ARDS, and cystic fibrosis

Required Qualifications
• Valid Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in Indiana (or equivalent state license) prior to start date
• RRT certification required; ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist, with at least 3 years in critical care settings
• Ability to perform high-risk procedures including intubation, arterial punctures, and ventilator management

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience in NICU, pediatrics, home care, or patient transports
• Additional certifications such as PALS and NRP are a plus
• Familiarity with ICU, PCU, surgical, and telemetry units
