Job Title

• Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

• Lafayette, IN

• Full-time, day shift (3x12 hours)

• Provide nursing care to patients in a mixed acuity unit including medical, oncology, stroke, cardiac, gastrointestinal, and pulmonary patients.
• Manage medications such as Cardizem, Amio, and insulin drips, and respond to unstable strokes and BiPAP scenarios.
• Ensure compliance with safety and documentation standards using Cerner charting system.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care across varying acuity levels.
• Support a dynamic environment with flexible patient care responsibilities, including floating within hospital units or affiliated facilities.

• Active nursing license in Indiana (in hand prior to start; temporary licenses accepted upon application)
• Minimum of 18 months of RN experience, with solid neuro care background
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Ability to work 2 out of 3 major holidays, and flexibility to float within the hospital
• Proficiency with Cerner charting system

• Previous experience in neuro, PCU, or stepdown units
• Experience managing infusions such as insulin, amio, and cardiopulmonary drips
