Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Midshift (evening)
- 8.5 hours per shift, 5 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide wound care and specialized nursing services to long-term care or skilled nursing facility residents
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor and assess patient progress, documenting relevant findings
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
- Assist with resident daily activities and healthcare needs as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in West Virginia
- Experience in LTC or SNF settings preferred
- Strong wound care knowledge and skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with elderly or chronically ill populations
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Certification in wound care nursing (preferred but not required)
