Key Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care for adult patients in a Medical-Surgical setting under the direction of hospital protocols.
• Manage a patient load with staffing ratios typically around 6:1, utilizing teamwork strategies.
• Document patient information accurately using Meditech system.
• Float to inpatient units as needed, including CCU and Emergency Department, to support staffing needs.
• Perform bedside procedures as delegated by physicians and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
• Adhere to dress code standards, including scrubs, and maintain professional conduct at all times.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kentucky or eligible for licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a positive attitude.
• Ability to manage multiple patients and demonstrate patient-centered care.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical-Surgical unit.
• Knowledge of Meditech documentation system.
• Flexibility to float to various inpatient units and perform bedside procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
