• Full-time, Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 1 shift per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care to residents across multiple units, including specialized care for residents with Alzheimer's and dementia.
• Utilize both verbal and non-verbal communication techniques to support residents’ needs.
• Monitor and manage behavioral challenges associated with cognitive impairments.
• Deliver short-term rehabilitation services such as IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment for patients recovering from surgeries or injuries.
• Collaborate with care team members to create a safe, comfortable, and home-like environment for residents requiring long-term or short-term care.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and facility policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the State of Maine or a compact state.
• Associates degree in Nursing.
• 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and float to different units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
• Familiarity with dementia and Alzheimer's care techniques.
• Ability to handle behavioral and communication challenges in a resident-centered manner.
