Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care/Clinic/Outpatient

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide outpatient nursing care in a preventative cardiology clinic setting
• Handle phone consultations, in-basket work, and patient education
• Support medication prior authorization processes and documentation
• Collaborate with clinical team members to deliver quality patient care
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with clinical protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in an outpatient or clinic setting
• Office experience and proficiency with Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to work independently with minimal patient-facing interactions
• Strong communication skills for phone and remote patient interactions
• Must reside within 45 minutes of Hartford, CT

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Cardiology-specific nursing experience
• Prior outpatient nursing in cardiology or similar specialty
• Familiarity with medication prior authorization processes
