Registered Nurse - Dialysis
Location: Mauston, WI
Schedule / Job Type: Part-time, days shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Assess hemodialysis patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
- Administer, monitor, and document therapeutic interventions and regimens.
- Manage changing patient conditions, including delegating care to team members as needed.
- Assist healthcare providers with patient needs before, during, and after dialysis treatments, ensuring timely and compassionate care.
- Obtain lab specimens, perform lab competencies, and conduct quality controls regularly.
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, care requirements, and safety precautions.
- Participate in daily huddles, meetings, and clinical decision-making activities.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or healthcare providers.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in nursing required; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Valid and active Wisconsin Registered Nursing license.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum of 9 months of clinical nursing experience.
- At least 3 months of specialized experience providing dialysis care in chronic or acute settings.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in dialysis or nephrology nursing.
- Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
