Medical Laboratory Technologist / Clinical Lab Scientist

Schedule / Job Type
Full-time, Night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform laboratory testing on blood, body fluids, and tissue samples to aid in diagnosis.
• Process tests for both inpatient and outpatient specimens in a high-volume hospital environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely results to support patient care and diagnosis.
• Maintain compliance with CLIA and CAP standards, following all safety and quality protocols.
• Utilize laboratory instrumentation and technology to perform a variety of diagnostic tests.
• Document and communicate test results clearly and correctly.

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) through ASCP, AMT, or an equivalent organization.
• Ability to work 10-hour night shifts.
• Experience working in a CLIA-licensed and CAP-accredited laboratory.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience in a hospital laboratory setting.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
