Key Responsibilities

• Assist physicians with arteriograms and other specialized radiologic procedures under sterile technique for the diagnosis and treatment of patients

• Prepare examination areas and position patients appropriately for procedures

• Operate complex radiology equipment in accordance with established techniques and routines

• Pass materials and take exposures as directed by the supervising physician

• Provide patient care appropriate to the ages of the patients served, demonstrating knowledge and skills relevant to the patient population

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field

• Completion of a 2-year training program at an approved school of radiologic technology

• IEMA Radiology licensure

• ARRT registration

• BLS certification through the American Heart Association

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous patient care experience in a clinical or hospital setting

• Familiarity with Cath Lab or EP procedures and environments
