Key Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including cardiac stent placement, PCI, PTCA, and ablations.
• Assist with electrophysiology studies such as arrhythmia induction, device insertion, and mapping.
• Conduct vascular procedures including angioplasty, embolization, angiograms, and vascular access.
• Maintain procedural accuracy, set up equipment, monitor patient status, and recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.
• Ensure sterile technique and proper documentation within EPIC system.
• Float within the hospital and to affiliate facilities as needed for coverage.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in cath lab or radiology.
• Current state license in Illinois (required at time of submission).
• CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications.
• Proficiency in fluoroscopy equipment, vascular, and cardiac procedures.
• Ability to work day shifts with some on-call, evening, weekend, and holiday work.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC charting system experience.
• Knowledge of electrophysiology procedures and vascular interventions.
• Previous experience with PICC lines, PACS, and vascular closure systems.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
