Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to adult patients on a Medical-Surgical unit within a Level I Trauma Center.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
- Monitor patient progress, administer medications, and document care accurately in EPIC.
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and ongoing assessments.
- Float within scope to meet facility needs and support both Med-Surg and behavioral health sides of the unit.
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact RN license.
- 1 year of Medical-Surgical experience.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Experience with EPIC charting system.
- Ability to work night shifts and be flexible with schedule.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center or teaching hospital.
- Experience working with adult patients with co-occurring medical and behavioral health conditions.
- Strong interdisciplinary communication skills.
