Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities (LTC/SNF)
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
- Monitor residents' health status and report changes to the healthcare team
- Document care provided and maintain accurate medical records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality resident care
- Work 8-hour shifts, primarily days (6 a.m. to 2 p.m.), with every other weekend required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Nebraska State LVN or LPN license
- BLS certification (AHA or ARC only)
- Must be able to pass a clinical interview
- Compliance with Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) regulations, including submission within 48 hours of placement
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in SNF or LTC settings preferred
