Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, 13-week contract, Days shift, 12-hour shifts (7am-7:30pm, hours may vary)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide patient care within the Medical Surgical/Neuro unit in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
- Monitor patient conditions and document care effectively
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
- Assist with patient education and discharge planning as needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a related specialty, specifically Medical Surgical or Neuro units
- Valid American Heart Association (AHA) BLS & ACLS certifications
- NIH Stroke Scale Certification (or equivalent)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in acute neuro or medical-surgical settings
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
